AquaBall is also available in grape and strawberry lemonade flavor.ĪquaBall is available at most retailers across the country including Costco and Sam’s Club. Some of the comments I heard from the kids about the water were “What is this drink? I like it!” and “Is there anymore?” Afterwards, my daughter told me that she liked berry frost flavor the best, while my son enjoyed fruit punch. Each child got a snack and a bottle of water provided by the company. They needed to be rehydrated immediately. One child even ran over 50 laps! By the end of the race, all of the kids were exhausted and sweaty. What’s best, is that AquaBall is not only free of preservatives, sugar, artificial flavors and colors, but it is a good source of vitamins B3, B5, B6, and C.ĭuring the jog-a-thon, our children ran for 15 minutes. They wanted to create an alternative great-tasting drink for kids that made a difference in the world by attempting to end the trend of childhood obesity and diabetes. After surveying the beverage industry, they realized that most, if not all children’s beverages, contained an excessive amount of sugar and calories. The founders created AquaBall out of the desire to do right for children’s health. What I appreciate most about AquaBall is their story. All of the children at our school sure did! What’s AquaBall, you may ask? It is a sugar-free, preservative free, naturally flavored water your kids will love. So as VP of the PTA this year, and as a local blogger, I reached out to my friends at AquaBall and they donated over 500 bottles of water for the jog-a-thon. This year our goal was to raise $25,000! It was a big undertaking, but we knew we could do it with the help of our local community and business leaders. In October, my children’s school hosted a traditional jog-a-thon to help raise money for all the PTA programs that they put on including the science lab, new technology, lunch with the principal, family fun nights, an annual camp out and more.
